Our range incudes the "gold standard” ML3 ThetaProbe soil moisture sensor, highly respected by scientists and researchers worldwide for its reliability and 1% accuracy and featuring built-in temperature measurement.
We also offer the SM300 soil moisture sensor, with 2.5% accuracy, and built-in temperature measurement. Finally we have the affordable SM150 Sensor with 3% accuracy. The sensors are compatible with most types of data logger, including the Delta-T Devices GP2, GP1 and DL6 loggers; alternatively the sensors can be connected to the portable HH2 hand-held readout unit.
For vertical profiling of soil moisture Delta-T offers the unique PR2 Profile Probe. The PR2/4 model measures at 4 depths down to 40cm or the PR2/6 model measures at 6 depths down to 100cm. Researchers and consultants value the flexibility of this instrument which can be used in fixed installations with a data logger or as a portable profiling tool with the HH2 hand-held readout unit. The Delta-T GP2 and DL6 data loggers both have dedicated PR2 connectors for rapid set up.
The WET Sensor measure three vital properties of substrates: water content, pore water EC and temperature. It is the ideal tool for fertigation monitoring in horticulture or for soil salinity studies. Readout and data storage are handled by the portable HH2 hand-held readout unit; alternatively, the WET Sensor can be connected to a GP1 or GP2 data logger.
For soil water potential measurements Delta-T offers the maintenance-free EQ3 Equitensiometer and the SWT4, SWT4R and SWT5 water filled tensiometers.
