FT1 SINGLE BATCH CALIBRATION SHEETS
The FT1 Dielectric Tensiometer measures water tension in soilless substrates. By default, it is supplied with standard foam discs, and a corresponding standard calibration curve is built into our DeltaLINK software. 
An even higher accuracy option is available (when using the GP1 or GP2 Data logger) in the form of FT1-FM1-SB-05 foam discs. These “single batch” foam discs are supplied with a batch-specific colour coded calibration sheet, and It is very important that the correct calibration values are used.
Please NOTE:
When using the GP2 Data Logger, the supplied calibration sheet contains the required parameter values for the user to input into DeltaLINK Software. However, for the GP1 Data Logger, a different parameter value table is required. That table can be downloaded below.
HOW TO INSTALL THE SINGLE BATCH CALIBRATION FOR YOUR GP1 DATA LOGGER
- Close any open DeltaLINK windows.
- The downloadable lookup values are stored in a zip file. Download and open this.
- Extract the file with extension “.tbl”. Save it to your DeltaLINK Installation folder. Typically this might be “C:\Program Files (x86)\Delta-T\DeltaLINK 3.8” (note this will require administrator permissions on your PC)
- Open DeltaLINK, and configure the channel connected to the FT1 (1 or 2) as “custom voltage”.
- In the sensor’s “Input Channel Properties”, find the Linearization table drop-down menu, and select the lookup table.
- Fill in the items listed on the certificate. Change the units to kPa.
- Configure the temperature channel (3 or 4) as FT1 (temperature).
