This tutorial contains a step-by-step guide to using the GP2 to control and record a simple irrigation system. Part one of the tutorial shows how DeltaLINK 3 can simulate the logger, the irrigation system, the weather and the movement of the moisture through the soil while a crop grows.
Part two takes the form of a practical project – explaining in detail how to set up and run an actual irrigation system using the GP2 and Sensors. This two-step approach – simulate first then “actually implement” – also reflects the way we think most users will use their GP2 logger. The Simulator lets you quickly develop, test, and understand your logging program/controller/experiment – before starting any practical project.
