Repairs, Calibration & Warranty


Users based in countries served by a Delta-T Devices distributor should contact them in the first instance. Other users should contact Delta-T Devices directly.

Spare parts for our own instruments can be supplied and can normally be despatched within a few working days of receiving an order. Spare parts and accessories for products not manufactured by Delta-T Devices may have to be obtained from our supplier, and some additional delay is inevitable.

We aim to complete repairs within 7 working days of the customer giving their consent for us to proceed with the repair at the quoted price. In cases where the equipment has to be forwarded to our original supplier for specialist repairs or recalibration, additional delays of a few weeks may be expected.

Please refer to your product’s user manual for guidance on recalibration, including the recommended recalibration period. All instrument requiring recalibration have to be returned to Delta-T Devices in the UK, please contact Delta-T Devices or our distributor for a quotation before shipping the equipment to us.


Warranty (guarantee)

Delta-T Devices products are supplied with a 2 year warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials. The two year period starts from the date when the products are delivered to the customer.

The warranty period of the WET150 Multi-Parameter Soil Sensor, AP4 Porometer, ML3 Soil Moisture Sensor, and SM150T Soil Moisture Sensor can be extended from 2 years to 5 years by registering the products on the extended warranty registration page. To qualify, products must be registered within 12 weeks of delivery. Terms of Warranty


Damage in transit

Goods that arrive damaged should be reported to Delta-T Devices as soon as possible. Please take photographs of the damage and, where practicable, retain the damaged packaging so that courier/insurance claims can be initiated as necessary.

Please note that liability for compensation will be determined by the insurance cover arranged for the shipment (if any) and the carriers own terms and conditions. Delta-T Devices does not guarantee the safe arrival of goods in transit: all insurance cover is provided by third party insurers.
